THE only music I can associate with the works of Lovecraft. Marvelously dreamlike and twisted. Frankly all the tracks are my favorite, but Mi-go Surgery is, to my mind, like stumbling into an unwritten work by Lovecraft, a rare piece of musical narative.

Nothing like AKLO has ever existed before. There are no other projects, musicians, or bands I can compare it to, even being well versed in the experimental and noise genres. Here there be monsters. This is the edge of the map. The border of dreams. This is to music what a Lovecraftian creature would be to a human. It is horrific yet fascinating and even soothing (to my own sensibilities at least). The tracks capture the essence of the stories on which they are based in a masterful way. It defies genre, but AKLO is one of my absolute all time favorite musical projects ever to exist and all three albums would make Lovecraft, dare I say, proud that he had inspired such fantastic art with his writings!
